Black Box Theater
black box theater, flexible theater
What is a Black Box Theater?
A black box theater is a flexible performance space with minimal fixed architecture — typically a rectangular room painted black with configurable seating and staging. The absence of a proscenium arch allows the performance space to be reconfigured for each production.
