Emergency Stop

What is a Emergency Stop?
An emergency stop (E-stop) is a safety device that immediately halts all motion in a stage machinery system when activated. E-stops are red mushroom-head buttons located at the operator console and at strategic positions around the stage. They are the last line of defense in preventing accidents.
How It Works
When an E-stop button is pressed: the safety circuit is broken (hardwired, not software-dependent), all motor drives receive an immediate stop command, all brakes engage, and the system enters a safe state. Restarting requires manually releasing the E-stop button AND performing a deliberate reset action (key switch or confirmation sequence).
