What is a Fly Tower?
A fly tower (also called a fly loft or fly gallery) is the vertical space above the stage enclosed by the building structure. It provides the height needed for scenery and equipment to be lifted completely out of sight. The fly tower contains the grid, head blocks, loft blocks, and the full vertical travel path of the flying system.
