Truss

stage truss, aluminum truss, lighting truss

What is a Truss?

A truss is a rigid structural framework made from aluminum or steel tubes arranged in triangular patterns. In stage and event applications, trusses are used to span distances and support lighting, speakers, LED screens, and scenic elements above the audience or stage.

How It Works

The triangular geometry of truss construction distributes loads efficiently through tension and compression in the tube members. This allows trusses to span significant distances (up to 20m+) while remaining relatively lightweight.

Key Components

Box truss4-corner (most common for stage)
Triangle truss3-corner (lighter duty)
Flat/tri trussFor short spans
