The BRD Lighting Batten is a dedicated suspension structure for stage lighting: two parallel steel pipes joined by bolted pipe clamps, with a slotted steel cable tray carried between them. It gives every lighting position a clean, load-bearing frame — fixtures on the pipes, cabling in the tray.
Designed Around Real Rigging Practice
On a working lighting bar, the two biggest problems are fixture loading and cable management. This batten solves both at once. The double-pipe structure spreads fixture weight across two suspension points, while the integrated slotted channel keeps power cables and DMX lines off the pipes — no zip-tie jungle, no cables snagging on clamps, and service access to every fixture stays clear.
Bolted Clamps, Flexible Layout
Every connection is a bolted pipe clamp: strong, vibration-proof, and adjustable. Clamp positions can be moved to match fixture spacing, the cable tray can be mounted at the height and offset the venue needs, and batten length is configurable to the proscenium or studio grid. Because the whole assembly is modular, it can be extended, reconfigured or relocated as the venue evolves.
Finish That Disappears Into the Ceiling
The entire assembly — pipes, clamps and tray — is finished in matte black powder coating. On a dark grid it visually disappears, keeps stray light reflection low, and resists the scratches and corrosion of daily rigging work.
