Hot-Dip Galvanized Turnbuckle
Hot-dip galvanized turnbuckles for stage rigging: open-body rigging screws with interchangeable jaw and eye ends, used to tension and level suspension lines. The galvanized finish suits permanent installations and humid or outdoor environments where bright zinc plating is not enough.

The BRD hot-dip galvanized turnbuckle — rigging screw in UK terminology — is the tensioning element between the building structure and the batten: it takes up the lifting line, sets the trim, and levels the pipe after installation.
Why Hot-Dip Galvanizing
Electro-plated zinc is thin and wears through in humid backstage air, let alone outdoor stages. Hot-dip galvanizing builds a thick, metallurgically bonded zinc layer over the body, the threaded take-up rods and the end fittings — the same protection philosophy used on the galvanized wire rope it works with.
Jaw or Eye, Your Layout Decides
Jaw ends close over a pin with a shackle or clevis; eye ends accept hooks and hard eyes. Combinations — jaw–jaw, eye–eye, jaw–eye — let one hardware family cover spot lines, dead-hung batten points and guy lines.
BRD Technology supplies stage rigging hardware from China with 500+ installations across 14 countries and regions, including turnbuckles matched to our batten clamps, wire rope and hoisting packages.
A turnbuckle — or rigging screw in UK terminology — is the tensioning component that keeps a batten level. Our hot-dip galvanized turnbuckle is proof tested, and can be supplied as a turnbuckle and clamp assembly together with the wire rope and batten clamp it is used with.
